Are there any bands where a girl plays the guitar that can be taken seriously?

All the good bands consist of guys, and the only good band I know where a girl is in, is Paramore. Metal bands are always only guys... how come? When on Youtube there are girls practicing growls and screams? I mean, yeah the guys can do it better, but there has to be a band that plays decent rock and has a girl in it, right? Doesn't ahve to be a girl band, because I'm not particularly fond of them.

2. Paramore is terrible. There are plenty of great female musicians. All That Remains has a female bass player. The Donna's are all girls and were great before they started playing power pop. Flyleaf is pretty cool.
